Miau the Cat

Hi there, my name is Miau and I'm a big fan of Minecraft, Marvel (especially Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and occasionally Hermitcraft. And I like cats, if that's important.

My Minecraft Builds

The Craters

This world was created as a Survival world over on Bedrock Edition with a friend of mine. I don't even remember the first days in the world but what I do remember is the place we moved to after some time. We decided to build our houses on the shore of one of two craters located right next to each other. My friend's house was rather modern while mine had a small dock in front of it. We also decided to build a small island in the middle of our crater to be home to our enchanting table.

Floralia Manor

I don't even remember why I created this building but it was probably out of boredom. I experimented with some styles and palettes that I wasn't used to and I even installed a bell in the clock tower that could be heard every 50 seconds (the Minecraft equivalent to an hour) using command blocks.

Desertopia

Desertopia and the nearby underwater base are probably one of the builds I spent the most time working on. These were constructed on a Youtuber's SMP called GorilloCraft. In fact, it's the first Minecraft server I played on since its very beginning. When I first spawned into the world, I dug myself a tiny cave behind a lava lake next to a small mountain to begin gathering resources for my main base, which would be said underwater base. It was inspired by a YouTube tutorial, but I designed all of the interior completely by myself. After deconstructing the first attempt on building it after not being content with its location, another player named Angelay15 would eventually teleport me to a coral reef next to a beautiful desert coast. After finishing my main base, I started expanding the small coastal town that Angelay and another player named Fizz (who is the amazing artist who created my profile picture) had already begun with a music disc and axolotl farm which I would later call Desertopia. In early 2023, GorilloCraft closed after several months of being my favorite server. My builds were even featured in Gorillo's build showcase video after the server had ended.

The Treehouse

After the first season of the first Minecraft server I had actively played on, Treehouse SMP, had suddenly ended, I had to search for other servers to play on, but most of the time, I played on singleplayer worlds. However, after two years and after GorilloCraft had closed, a player from the first season and the server owner decided to start a third season (yes, there was a second season but I didn't know of it until it ended too). I offered to help with building the spawn, resulting in me becoming one of the server admins and also filming the official trailer of the season. Sadly, after roughly half a year, Treehouse SMP S3 was closed, but I've got to know a lot of great people on there.

Meow's Mansion

This former Illager residence, located on Treehouse SMP Season 3 as well, was the place I eventually moved to after giving up my first base, which was basically just a big cube of cobbled deepslate. Another player called CookieGamer4321 took over said base. At first, living in the woodland mansion wasn't quite comfortable as most of the rooms were still empty, but over time, I filled them with a storage, a furnace room, a living room, a library, a trading hall, automatic farms and even a secret gallery behind the main staircase. In addition to that, I began building a beautiful cherry-themed garden in front of the entrance, using some of the natural environment of the dark forest, but also doing some terraforming.

The Head-Quarters

Being another building from Treehouse SMP, this museum built on a stony shore was a collaboration with a good friend of mine, Luke. Whilst we were both collecting mob head after mob head, construction began on the Head Hall, which Luke would later name the Head-Quarters. Sadly, we weren't able to gather every head before the server would close, so these pictures were taken on a copy of the world that was set to creative mode.
